Port Hueneme is planning to ask the Coastal Commission this month in San Francisco for a zoning change on the property just north of the Rite Aid that has been a vacant lot for over 20 years.
It is presently zoned commercial. They are asking to have it changed to mixed use residential and are planning for 19,000sq feet of retail with 112 apartments on top of the retail and 4 live/work apts. on the ground floor. Were you aware of this?
